GMT Master Root Beer 16753
As some of you read before I came across an unbelievable deal on a GMT Master 16753. I met with the guy at the AD and came home with the watch. This watch is special to me because my dad wore one just like it for years (it's what i remember seeing on his arm when I was growing up) Here are some pictures. Sorry Im not a photographer.

Congrats on the root beer. A great deal, classic Rolex, and memories of you dad. Doesn't get much better than that.

Well swatch I realy do like the watch and it looks pretty good on the wrist but for my personal preference I am looking for a sub date. If the watch doesnt sell its not big deal I will be happy having it to wear. I believe that I will be able to enjoy and utilize more of a daily wearer watch more than the root beer.

Great job, beautiful watch and you will think of your dad quite often when you're wearing it.

I love those root beers, that one has a beautiful dial.
Hopefully one day the Rolex fairy (mrs Bitsy) will leave one on my pillow! J |

I remember back when I was younger, I never liked the rootbear GMT. Now I think it is one of the best ones ever made. Congrats

Here are a few more pics after i cleaned it up and gave it a little tender love and care. The bracelet cleaned up and looks almost brand new.

Love the nipple dial. Here's mine, not as nice as yours, but I like it. |

An excellent Rolex, to be sure. And destined to increase in value in the years to come. I love mine!!!

Guys,
I have a quick question. I have a member on the forum telling me that there is no way this is the original bezel on the watch. Does he know what he is talking about. He says that this watch was only offered in a two tone bezel and never the single color. Someone please tell me the real deal with the bezel offerings. |
