pic request: superdome crystal on 5513 with WGS

I love the look of the tall superdome acrylic crystal and have been considering swapping one onto my 5513 Submariner. Anyone with a white gold surround model ever add a superdome crystal? Hows it look? Have seen plenty of pics on the matte dials but not any on the later serials. Mine is a gloss dial L serial from 1989.

Thank you

Haven’t seen any and used to own a transitional 5513 with the correct acrylic crystal. My Mk4 maxi from early eighties looks great with a T19 acrylic crystal. Nice optic distortion of the dial and lume plots.

My 'beater' Sub. Purists will scoff but I didn't pay a huge amount for the watch and it wears like a dream, and it's not like I'm in charge of the Official Wilsdorf Society or anything, I just like to wear old Rolexes.

Interesting. It doesn’t appear to distort the lume plots like the maxi matte dial optic affect from the pics.

Nice! Just what I was looking for. The next time mine goes in for a service I may switch to the superdome for fun. I would keep the original acrylic dome crystal of course. Thanks for sharing!
