A rough day

Today wasn't a good day. My sister sent an email from Florida this morning. Her husband passed away on Wednesday after a 3 year battle with cancer, and her 12 year old grandson (my nephew's son) got admitted into hospital two days ago and is now in a diabetic coma.

Al, I'm sorry to hear of your sister's loss. Anytime anyone loses a loved one it's tough on the family. My thoughts are with you and your sister!!!
As for her grandson, hopefully they can get his sugar under control, bring him out of his coma and teach him how to cope with his illness.
Best wishes!!!

Maurice was an absolute gentleman in a Southern redneck sort of way, and a true pure artist. Here are some of his works, and a tribute video put together in January when the end was inevitable. I consider myself fortunate to have known him and to have some of his sculptures in my home. He'll live on forever in my space.

I don't know you or your family, but that tribute was sad, happy and poignant, it brought tears to my eyes, the loss of ones soul mate is awful, I do hope your sisters pain eases.
