Is the Pam995 worth buying?
Can’t get it off my mind, is it worth the money?

Same happened on me, couldn’t stop thinking about the green dial. So I purchased mine yesterday on my bonus day. The boutique gave me 15% discount and 2 extra straps. I gotta say it’s worth the money cause it’s so unique, especially with alligator strap on it.

If you love it and can afford it, yes, it is worth it.

I was in the AD this week and happened to chance upon a time only Pam 995. I would say the olive green dial is amazing coupled with a domed crystal with that vintage look. Size at 45 is typical Panerai and height is just a little above 11 due to the domed crystal. I would say this is one Pam that is almost as near as the last Pam of ABonati.
If you like it and is losing sleep on it, get it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bought the 997 - black ceramic in the same line. It's expensive but like all luxury items, you personally have to decide if it's worth it to you.
The 997 has now become my favourite watch, and it's unbeatable in terms of comfort, wrist presence, and durability.(to me) So yeah, it's worth the high price tag imo |

Huge congratulations.
I love this 3 dial limited run green dial collection. I think they look great. As soon as my AD gets the 999 I'm pulling the trigger myself. There is something really special about these watches.

It's one of the best looking references in the current line up, imo. Micro rotor is just so cool. Congrats, OP!

Agreed. My impression and experience is that the boutiques won’t really discount. Especially on a new and boutique-only pieces. Maybe a strap or two, but not much else.
Anyhoo. I have the 995, and really like it. |

I got 5% and 2 extra alligator straps - making it 4 in total. The discount was only because i was an ex customer.

That’s what i got too. I picked a green rubber strap and a short yellow alligator for my wife, and i swap out the canvas strap for a light brown leather.

I tried the 995 at a boutique today and keep thinking about it...it looks so amazing but I have a 6.5in wrist and looks massive...cant make up my mind if it just looks to large or not...I'd really like to get it.

my wrist is just slightly bigger, and i think the 995 wears quite nicely due to thin case profile and lack of crown guard. 45mm is IMO great size for a Panerai. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think it looks amazing. The vintage hues of the green and gold work well on the Radiomir 1940 case.
