1983 Sub
So, I’m new to Rolex, bought my first one 7 months ago. Was blessed to get a 116610LN. I know from these forums I’ll get some hate for this as a newbie question. But out of curiosity A) how tough would it be to find a legit good quality 1983 sub and or GMT. And B) what would one except to pay for such a piece. 83’ was birth year Incase someone asks why.

1983 is still the matte dial era. You'd be looking for a 16800 Sub or 16750 GMT. Expect to pay $15k+ for either ref.
Shame you're not a year older: https://www.hqmilton.com/timepieces/...h-papers-A2643 |

Matte dial 16800s and 16750s vary widely in price depending on condition, patina, and box/papers/accessories. The 16800 tends to be cheaper. A good condition 16750 with box and papers would be $20k+.
