FS: 1968 Tudor Sub Ref. 7016/0 "Rose Dial, Unpolished Case"

I love this watch - bought it from a fellow member and have enjoyed wearing it. I am selling to raise funds for my grail watch.

Watch is unchanged from when I bought it, so I will use the same description from the original ad, which described the watch perfectly.

(Note: I did change the strap to a beautiful burgundy Horween leather strap.)

6222,XXX serial number circa 1968 production

Early production 7016 with Rose Logo dial and semi-PCG case.

Excellent condition case with fat lugs and crown guards. Original chamfers. Clear numbers between the lugs. Twin-lock crown.

Dial is original with nice patina on plots and hands. No damage, no relume.

Fat font insert with tritium pearl.

Caseback is original, dated 1968 inside.

Watch comes on unworn leather strap and steel buckle.

No box or papers. My price is $8000 shipped within the U.S. via Fed-Ex with insurance.
