how many watch you actually have? because if ou only have 1-2 you dont really need a watch winder..its just a wate of money..but if you insist..Orbita is really excellent...wolf design also is good for more affordable winder..and for an expensive one scatola del tempo is the Roll's Royce of winders...

i really need a winder for convenience coz i dont wear my watch evaryday, and i dont want to set the time and date everytime and wear it coz its a waste of time and to lessen the wear and tear of the threadand crown. im just looking to buy 1 single winder, low budget. eilux has good reviews and reasonable price and it also has 1 year warranty and has a bi directional setting which rolex needs. But i havent tried one. im just asking if anybody has tried?im looking to get the cylindrical eilux single watch winder. thanks for your reply

I've only heard (second-hand) that Eilux winders are value-priced but break after a certain amount of use.

I have a eilux (4) watch winder. Had no problems. I recently picked up another watch winder from Brookstone. I swear it's made and runs just like an orbita ........... for the good $150.00. It accomodates 2 watches.

I've had four Eilux winders. the two oldest have given no problems and are 5 years old. The two newest have both been returned under warranty for repairs. The first for a broken latch and the second, one of the winder motors stopped.

I had a single for the longest time. No problems. I now have a double. Had it for atleast 3-4 years. No problems. Good bang for the buck winder.

Believe me your Rolex can take the wear and tear of threading the crown in and out. I say just wear the watch save your money.

i have been using a 3-head eilux winder (black, non-leather) for possibly over 6 years (perhaps 7) and it's still running fine. it's quiet and looks pretty nice too.

Any watchwinder will be fine for any Rolex, but save your money they are not needed with any Rolex watch. You already have two of the finest winders in the world they are called wrists and what your watch was designed for.Now this myth about the crown wear, just think of all the manual wind watches in this world today with screw down crowns Rolex included. Now they get wound for decades each day without problems, and things like crown and crown tubes are just normal serviceable items that are often changed as part of normal service.

I have had two of these running on batteries for the last couple of years with no problems at all. Nice and quiet too.

I have Orbita and Wolf, both run great....
I will buy another Wolf soon! (too many watches!)

The wolf is a better winder than Orbita from my experience.
