Trade black bay ETA black plus cash for 214270?

Trying to decide if I should trade my black bay ETA BBN plus $2600 (for a 214270 full kit from oct 2019)

I like these watches both equally. Can’t rlly decide

Im a big fan of the 79220N but that is a good deal. Seems like they are paying you really well for the Tudor. I would just add but......

I wouldn’t trade. That’s because I like to keep what I already have.

I would just add whatever watch I wanted to the collection.

A current production model exp I is much more available than a ETA BBN.

Unfortunately I don’t have the means to add. And with the SS Rolex market being as crazy as it has been, jumping on a good deal to acquire a piece from the SS sport line I’ve been eyeing for a while makes me think of going this direction.

If I had the means I’d def add instead of trade

However You make a great point and I appreciate your response

No... ok its a Rolex, but a current production everyday model. Don't get me wrong, its an iconic watch... BUT... the BBN ETA was only produced for around 4 / 5 months and was the last BB to have the ETA movement. This in its own right is a bit of watch / Tudor history.

Depends if you want a Rolex, because its a Rolex... or want something a bit more 'special'

I have both the Explorer and BBN-ETA and can understand the preference for the Explorer due to it's more svelte size and shape plus the Rolex quality. Enjoy your Explorer in good health. Cheers!

Welcome to the club! I’ve enjoyed wearing mine since getting it last spring—very comfortable and versatile. I think you made a smart move for this one

Enjoy it and wear it in good health, sir

Congratulations!

Trading up is almost always a good idea. Especially if you are trading a number of watches that you don't appreciate that much, for one that you will love so much more.
