You'll be just fine.

I've taken my Explorer II in the lake, pool, salt water hot tub, steam room, sauna, etc. countless times and it's still ticking.

If you can handle it so can your watch

Sauna. Hot tub. Steam shower. It can handle much more than your body can.

wear a g-shock if you are concerned about your tool watch made for harsh environments getting ruined.

I have worn an oyster date in steam rooms, saunas, baths, showers, pools, oceans, deserts, and in the snow... For 15 years... Never a single problem. My wife has worn out for the past ten... Still no issue. Been serviced once...

Hi, you'll be perfectly fine. I've taken my watch into jacuzzis and steam baths several times over the years and have never had any problem.

There's even this video on youtube where this guy froze his Steel Daytona and it seems that the watch came out unscathed.

Not an issue. I had an explorer II as a daily for a long time and had a steam with it for about 30-40min every morning no issues whatsoever

I go in after my workout three to four times a week. Have done for 8-9 years in all my Rolexes. Never had one issue. Granted they have all been non vintage newer sport models.

All of my watches rated water resistant that cost over about £50 have indeed been water resistant, Inc rolexes. I must be lucky!

Its usually «pics or it did not happen», but I think I am just going to take OPs word for it this time.

Take a swim followed by a steam and sometimes a sauna everyday and have done so for years.

Whilst wear a sub, never had an issue. The sauna is outside and I would regularly go from a hot sauna to a heated jacuzzi in winter when at points it was snowing! No problems with temp changes.

Have a Tag Kirium chronograph that was ruined by a stream room, resulting in a £500 service repair bill. And it had only recently had a new battery fitted, so presumably also new seals. I would’t risk it again. I now wear an Explorer 1, and leave that in the safe if I use steam room/sauna facilities.

Don’t think it does much harm but may speed up the breakdown or drying out of oils in the movement and also worth getting it serviced at the recommended intervals to ensure the seals are not degraded by age.

Any other types of watches that have buttons ie. Chronographs or non screw down crowns are not up to this kind of activity in my opinion.

If you are worried about heat or water ruining your Rolex, forget about it. But you have alternatives. The one on the left was $10 on eBay.

Well they did quote years ago you can boil a oyster watch, but why the need to wear any watch while in a steam room or sauna defeats me.

None of those are harsh environments.

Temps here in the desert, and in the rain forests and jungles of South America are hotter and just as "wet" in the summertime.

If your watch is sound and the seals are viable, you can jump in a hot tub 100 meters deep without issue to the watch.

Just so you don’t have to leave it in a car or locker

I go in the mornings. In evenings I leave at home. Practical reasons really.

I’ve worn my LV on numerous holiday jacuzzis and hot tubs over the years and never had an issue

It would be strange if the manufacturer of the first waterproof wristwatch was making non-waterproof wristwatches in 2020.
