Rolex parts Account in the UK

Can anyone recommend a reliable / affordable AD that has a parts account with Rolex,

I've recently been quoted £30 for a part at the RSC St James London, they advised I needed to go through my local AD to purchase the part, Preston's Quoted £125 for the £30 part !?!?!

Any guidance greatly appreciated

Did you speak to Prestons & ask them why they want to charge you £125 for a part you know only costs £30?

Be interesting to know what they say.

What part is it?

There is a possibility that the increased cost was inclusive of a fitting fee as watchmakers with parts accounts do not sell loose parts to customers.

Hi Scott, I'm after a pair of 580 endlinks so no real technical know how required to fit them, I did try Robert Gatward of Windsor and they quoted £100, I don't really want to risk buying from e~Bay so my search continues,

I am guessing the difference is the AD’s “handling fees”

£30 is not the price for a pair of 580 end links. Someone has made a mistake.

Many thanks to Scott for helping out,

so it seems I've been mis quoted by the RSC and lesson learnt that end links cost more than £30.

The way this may play out is I have a set of 593 end links that are surplus to requirements so I can sell these on to cover the cost of the replacements,

many thanks one and all for the input,

Go on Vintage Rolex Market , You will find a buyer for your end links and source a pair off 580s

Tbf reading some of the other posts, £125 doesn’t sound like a bad price after all - would they fit them for you at the same time or was it a supply only price?

Go to another AD one of the chains you’ll find then cheaper to deal with
