Vintage Rolex or New Rolex?

So I want to buy a watch, or to be more precise, I want to buy a Rolex Submariner in Oystersteel with Yellow Gold and a Black Dial so the 16613 if i'm not mistaken.

Now this is quite a big deal for me. I dont have that much money left over and buying it new for around 12 thousand euros is quite a large amount for me.

My initial thought when I searched for a watch was that it should be something anywhere below 10 thousand. However I have really fallen in love with this watch and I am certain that it will be this one and no other.

But im getting off topic. I am currently facing a hard decision. I have seen that the 16613 is available (from trusted resellers) for about 7 thousand as a Vintage Model that is 20+ years old. One that I found for instance that looks quite decent is 23 years old.
