This Speedmaster digs into the original history of this incredible timepiece. Before you found this watch on the moon it was the racetrack where it made it’s home. Omega brings the heritage of the Speedmaster to this watch using it’s classic staggered seconds (nicknamed the checkered flag) track for higher accuracy and ease of reading the chronograph measurements for fractions of seconds.

The dial is a matte finish for even more ease of reading. It uses the dual sub-dial set up of that hints at the vintage look. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock registers minutes and hours so you may track a second time zone, which is a great use for this function. The accents of the Omega orange around the dial not only add style and interest, they also bring an additional level of readability. The orange hour and minute hands contrast with the white chronograph hand to set that detail off even more. The chronograph hand has the orange tip and each minute has an orange accent as well. The tachymetre bezel that Omega introduced on this model is now ceramic, virtually impossible to scratch and will never fade.

The watch is very easy to wear with the measurements below, can be comfortably worn by wrists down to 14cm. The strap is a very comfortable rally inspired piece with the orange accents cleverly executed using the holes to display the detail as you turn your wrist.

This is the new standard, flagship model of this watch. The indices are outlined in white gold and filled with super luminova. This METAS certified timepiece, a certification exclusive to Omega, takes accuracy beyond the COSC Chronometer ratings making this a Master Chronometer.
