Made the switch
Had the Batman for a few weeks; love it on the wrist it’s a beautiful watch but recently they’ve become a dime a dozen in my opinion, seen 5 in the last month alone and I was offered one for about 500$ cheaper than I got mine for so with that being said; tomorrow I pick up my HULK! Been eyeing this watch for a very long time and I made the decision to get it!
I was offered a trade for a 2019 Hulk with some stickers still on (bonus!) I add 1300 (1800cad) and I get it tomorrow (bonus aswell) I’ll post pics once on wrist What do you guys think about the trade? Edit: Forgot to mention I have a 116710LN on oyster so now I have more variety |

The Hulk is a beauty. I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. Congrats!

Since you asked.. I actually looked at a Hulk today with the option to purchase. I passed. Just not the watch for me.
If you like it, that is all that matters in the deal. |

Yeah I read that, and definitely respect that! I would’ve got it regardless but that’s just me

Just seems like you got sucked into the hype of the BLNR and now your getting sucked into the hype of the Hulk.
Once the Hulk dips in price you'll sell that too. LOL If i was you I wouldnt be buying any watch at the moment. They will all drop next 6-12 months |

I hope you’re right and then hopefully I’ll be able to trade it for a CHNR, this is the whole fun of this hobby the ultimate goal is your ultimate watch, atleast in my opinion - and the $ I’ve spent would take me years and much more $ to even try to get it at retail here in Toronto those watches are like unicorns

Sequentially swapping one watch for another every few months sounds like a very roundabout way of acquiring an ultimate watch. In any case, may you reach your goal and hopefully you don’t tire off that and swap it for the next ultimate goal |

I predict you’ll tire of the Hulk on March 18th after you see a zillion of them the day before.
Now I love the Hulk so call me first of my prediction is true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Lol you guys aren’t understanding the post clearly... I said I have a GMT LN - is there really a point to have two similar watches? Or throw some variety in?
Just asked your opinion not for you to critic how many times I want to trade watches. |

I see a lot of subs and hulks probably since Rolex will change the movement for those references

Alot Subs & GMTs out there, both old & new. They are abundant & popular with good reason: They are very attractive watches.

I’d never flip a watch because I’ve seen other people wearing the same model, but that’s just me Maybe I read you post incorrectly.

Sounds like you want to sell a watch that you "love" simply because they have become too common??? If you love the watch, keep it.
I would pick the BLNR over the Hulk anyway. You may tire of that green after a few months. Maybe sell the LN??? |

If the Hulk is what you want then the Hulk it is. A great watch and a lot of fun. This is a hobby and I think you should do what you want. Congratulations.

I would have kept the BLNR. I definitely would not have added money to the trade

BLNR was bought to wear... I wore it loved it for the short time I had it now it’s time to go to someone else.. the guy I bought it from this month alone has sent me 4 different variations of the watch at different price points - 1 new with stickers for 18,500, one new with no stickers 17,400, one new slightly worn for 16,900, and one no card for 16,500.
He’s had two hulks so far and I’ve been eyeing it for a while as I’ve mentioned before I do own the GMT C with oyster which is pretty much my daily and my first Rolex (some sentiment there) so if you were in my shoes what would you do? I was trying to say that the Batman took a slight downturn within literally a week or two which might even happen to the hulk; but I’d rather wear something that I have personally never come across in the wild. |

Take it as you wish but this isn’t what I meant. I meant that they’ve been popping up more often than not and also it is a new reference so I’m sure plenty more will present themselves soon
