Icon20 Need help on Picking next Rolex

With the market going the way it is, I am expecting to get some calls from ADs here soon. Already got a call this week for a no date Sub.

I need some help from this community on how I should round out my collection. Now before everyone says, personal preference.... I agree. Everything I own, I love but I am finding myself not wearing everything and that is a bad thing.

What I own.
1. Batman 2018
2. Hulk 2020
3. Seadweller 50th anniversary
4. 321 Panerari 2016
5. 2020 no date sub
6. 2013 sub two tone blue serti dial

What I want
1. SS Daytona white dial ( black would be nice too but I own a lot of black dials)
2. Blue Sea Dweller
3. RO Or PK 5711
4. Pepsi

Any ideas on things I should swap out or add to?

Your Rolex sports model collection is very similar to mine.

I used to own a white faced Daytona, but found it wore too small compared to my other watches, dial was too fussy and found it difficult to read.

Have you actually tried on a Daytona?

You have a very nice collection!

You may want to consider an AP RO or ROO. I have a few ROO's and wear them all regularly.

You listed as a possibility, a SS Ceramic Daytona. The prices on these are crazy and, for a few $$ more, i'd suggest looking at PM Ceramic Daytona on Oysterflex. Rose, Yellow, and White Gold all are stunning.

I was never a big a fan of the Daytona, but came across the WG Ceramic on Oysterflex strap. I tried it on and didn't let it go. It is, by far, the most comfortable watch I've ever owned. Rolex really knocked it out of the park with the Oysterflex rubber strap. In the past, I would always have preferred a full bracelet watch, particularly in the pm model, but i'm now a believer in the Oysterflex.

Good luck!

Looking at your current collection I would source a white SS ceramic Daytona but only at retail.

I love the Pepsi, but you need a Chrono in your collection, get the Daytona White dial.

Sell these:
321 Panerari 2016
2013 sub two tone blue serti dial

You'll have 5 of Rolex's Iconic SS models.

A GMT or a Chrono seems logical. 5711 is pie in the sky ... sorry

Any non super-hyped models you interested in? How about an AP ROC, you get two of yours in one there.

Welcome to the forum.

To your question: it appears you are overweight in modern models and could put 30% into vintage.

Also adding some diversity towards classic line to balance the professional line.

The new Ed white speedmaster would be a great chronograph addition that could hold it's own in your collection

I enjoy when people ask for thoughts about the collection and what to buy, please remember it's only someone's opinion and at the end of the day only you know what you really like or care about. Looking at your collection it seems like 5 divers and a GMT watch. I would keep the Batman, and Possibly keep the hulk and the seadweller only because dial colors are different. Keep the serti dial as a dress watch. Add the Daytona, add the BLRO if I got the call then sell the batman. Personally I would keep four, the chrono, a diver, and one GMT, maybe I would keep the serti dial as my dress piece since it fits under a cuff.

Is there a difference between a 2019 and 2020 Hulk? or a 2018 and 2019 Batman?

Anyways, you're buying too fast and not certain IMO. That's why you have watches sitting. You've already purchased two watches this year....relax and let the collection simmer, then re-evaluate. Otherwise you're just going to make another purchase that has a good possibility of not getting worn either.
