AD Discount on "non-waitlist" models?
What's the current situation on non-waitlist models? Are you getting any discounts, or should a discount be expected in these times?
I purchased my OP at list, didn't bother asking for discount tbh as this was last year when any steel model was pretty much unobtainable. I was offered 20% off Tudor BB but what's expected on something like a steel/TT DJ or something like a Milgaus? TT Sub? Chrono has plenty of new Milgaus' over list, but second-hand market is selling considerably under. |

Not sure...
My AD has told me that they are categorically not giving anything off any reference anymore, just won’t entertain it but makes it easier to deal with across the business as they have the same message across all stores. How true I don’t know but wouldn’t have been surprised with how hard certain references were to get hold of. Will this now change...no idea! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It might be premature to ask for the discount at this point. If the poor market situation continue, the real deals would be out there around May/ June 2020, hardly before.
The grays still need some time to accept the new market situation, and most of them are still holding on the stock, waiting to see how this all will go and hoping that the market will recover. There are many theories out there about the % of ppl that will lose jobs and those who will be forced to sell their Rolex watches bellow the retail price, but those deals are still not showing as a pattern, as most folks still have the spare cash available. The stock market manipulations in today World are staggering as well, and no one would be surprised anymore to see the stock market start flourishing again in the upcoming months after someone took the opportunity to buy the stocks at 50% OFF for billion of dollars. |

Not a scientific study... But there's a number of hot models on EBAY that have sold under RRP... Or, alternatively, aren't selling only a thousand or so over RRP. These are new or close to with box and papers.

I do not expect any AD discounts for SS Subs, GMTs and Daytonas in the coming years. Hopefully this awful corona crisis is dealt with soon and people's lives can go back to normal.

No discount or sale at all. My AD is closed indefinitely for now due to shut down.
