After nearly three years of pondering...

... I finally got myself a new Explorer, 214270. Been following this forum for just as long, so thinking I’ve finally deserved to become a member. It’s been sitting on my wrist for a whole two hours now, and I’m pretty happy about it. Crazy times to buy your first expensive watch, for sure, but then again, when better to brighten your day than when looking for the light in the tunnel...?

Be careful out there!

Congratulations! After thinking about it for three years, you surely got the correct watch. I thought about my first for a couple years also. Still wear it more than anything else.

Nice! If my AD called to tell me they had an Explorer 1, I'd be right with you.

Thanx! Congrats to your choice too. The Sky-Dweller was on my list as well, but firmly outside my budget... 😊

Congratulations Bobinero! The Explorer is one of my favorite models. There is something so spectacular about a “perfectly symmetrical” no date watch that has classic design and a GADA personality.
