I did not know you could get Smurfs from a Rolex watch AD especially with a fantasy island discount of 25%, and far as I know a Smurf was a Belgian comic and television franchise centred on a fictional colony of small blue creatures who live in mushroom-shaped houses in the forest. The Smurfs was first created and introduced as a series of comic characters by the Belgian comics artist Peyo (pen name of Pierre Culliford) in 1958, where they were known as Les Schtroumpfs. There are more than one hundred Smurf characters, and their names are based on adjectives that emphasise their characteristics, such as "Jokey Smurf", who likes to play practical jokes on his fellow smurfs. "Smurfette" was the first female Smurf to be introduced in the series. The Smurfs wear Phrygian caps, which came to represent freedom during the modern era.

The word “Smurf” is the original Dutch translation of the French "Schtroumpf", which, according to Peyo, is a word invented during a meal with fellow cartoonist André Franquin, when he could not remember the word salt.[3]

The Smurfs franchise began as a comic and expanded into advertising, films, TV series, ice cascades, video games, theme parks, and dolls. The Smurfs fulfil simple archetypes of everyday people: "Lazy Smurf", "Grouchy Smurf", "Brainy Smurf", and so on. All Smurfs, with the exception of Papa, Baby, Smurfette, Nanny and Grandpa, are said to be 100 years old. There were originally 99 Smurfs, but this number increased as new Smurf characters appeared, such as Sassette and Nanny. All of the original Smurfs were male; later female additions are Smurfette and Sassette—Smurfette being Gargamel's creation, while Sassette was created by the Smurflings but as far as I know none wear Smurf Rolex watches.

Unless you absolutely can't stand Submariners, White Gold, the color Blue, or can't afford it.... why is this even a question??? If you don't want it, I'll certainly take it. We want PICS!!!!

It’s about as good as they get. If you want the watch, buy it. However, if you don’t want the watch it’s not a good enough deal to spend ~$30k on something you don’t really want

My local AD was going out of the Rolex business a few years ago, and was offering ALL remaining Rolex's at 25% off...

He had a SMURF with a sticker of $36850, so with 25% off would have been $27637+tax.

That was a going out of business price...

So yes, I think you have a great deal in front of you...

That’s about where grey market new was 4 years ago. If you want it (and it is great watch) go for it.

If you like it and want it, I would take it! It’s a beautiful under the radar true enthusiast piece.

Try and negotiate for some extras as well if you can. No tax, ability to buy a SS stunner, watch winder, Rolex swag are all ideas !

Good luck and looking forward to the incoming

I would ask to be put on a priority list for a ceramic SS daytona if the watch sings to you. I feel you are doing them a favor right now in this uncertain market with such an expensive purchase.
