1979 Rolex 16808 Gold Sub

A farm fresh find, this Gold Sub ticks all the boxes. While finding gold sport watches with unpolished cases always gets me excited the dial on this piece is nothing short of remarkable - changing from sapphire blue to to an almost teal color depending on the lighting (video on IG - @fogcityvintage ).

Bracelet has 11 links, fitting up to a 7.5’ wrist, and is correctly stamped with an F date code. Coronet is strong only showing some softening around the edges from sleeve polish over the years.
