Blue by a lot. The brown dial lacks contrast without a black bezel

I just got the Everose black dial and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Make sure you see both in person, not just from the Rolex website. I wanted to love the blue Daytona, and was offered it by the NYC Rolex boutique last year, but when I saw in person I was very disappointed. The blue does not pop at all. It's quite muted, to the point of being boring. Not what I expected. Photos of watches don't ever tell the whole story, but especially with this reference.

If you're in the market for a full WG Daytona, I'd suggest also checking out the silver/steel dial panda. Beautiful watch.

I actually use my watch to tell the time (how novel!), so my vote is for the easier-to-read dial. Ergo WG with blue. But really exceptional pieces, both.

Gotta go with the rose then especially since you have a 116520

WG is boring if you compare it side by side to the RG. If you want something exciting go for RG.

Don’t look at the majority voting for WG. WG just seems to be the trend now. Go for what YOU like more.

My first impulse is the WG/Blue, but every RG watch I see in person, is always WAY better looking than the pictures. If you are in the market for one, you owe it to yourself to try both on your wrist!

Rose gold black dial, then brown, then white gold blue dial. If DD40 then white gold blue dial and never rose.

I would pick the WG/Silver dial or RG on black dial.

As I don't like the color of yellow and rose gold for my personal watches the WG with blue dial would be my choice.
