Great combination. Those are the two I would keep if I had to slim down to a vintage and a modern.
Would you mind sharing a picture of the brown ink in action? Thinking of it for my next colour Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk |

It's one of my favorite inks; here it is in fine and medium nibs.

Regarding the Toffee Brown ink. It just speaks to me especially on the brown tinted paper I'm using for my journal currently. I'm almost done with this book and I'll see what works with the next one when I actually get it started. I'm playing with a number of different colors so for now different pens get different inks for multiple reason (color preference and writing ease for the most part). I might add that the Parker 51 paired with some '80s blue ink is an amazing writer as well. The line it lays is phenomenal! |

Very nice and congrats. I love the MB Toffee Brown ink. It is one of my favourites.
I think it looks much better in person though, I don't think those photos do it justice. I hope you enjoy your new pens.

On another note, I'm very fond of the Parker 51. I love the line it puts down especially when coupled with the '80s ink. It's great to be able to find perfectly restored working 51s today. |

Thanks, this is a medium. I like it better than the bold nib in my Swift.
