Caught the Daytona bug!

A few weeks ago, I called my AD salesperson about the black dial steel Daytona. She told me they had one among a few other models, and that the store was closed, but she was just about to send messages to her clients about what she had in stock. Without a blink, I told her to reserve it for me. It hasn't been long that I started to really love the modern Daytona.

The white is stunning, but to be honest (in spite of the hype) I actually prefer the black dial.

Congrats on your new timepiece!

I have ignored the Daytona since the day I sold my SS white dial zenith a very long time ago. I have never owned a Sub because of the "Miami Thing", but a couple of days ago I bought a SD43 Mk1 and while looking at image galleries of the SD43 on this forum I ran into the Daytona ceramic black dial and now I too have the BUG!

Will keep you posted

Thanks!!

I'll let you all know. But, I can't choose one over the other. I wish they only made one in steel to avoid this..LOL! Yes, let us know reelestates.

Although I'm not the biggest Daytona fan, welcome to the club of people telling you they don't really want your watch but actually are super jealous and would buy it at retail in a heartbeat ;)
