[FSOT] Breitling - Top Time - ref. 2211 - UPH and pulsation
Breitling introduced it’s so-called top-time line up in the 70s. The Top time lineup has seen some change over the years and their models bared many dials colours and case shape.
The dial bares 2 measures. First the pulsation scale is graduated for 15 pulsations, meaning that the user may start their chronograph as they feel a subject’s first pulse and stop it after the 15th pulse, the chronograph seconds hand will then show the patient’s pulse rate on the orange scale to the edge of the dial. Secondly UPH (units-per-hour) scale can be used to calculate hourly production rates or it may be used in the same manner as a tachymeter to measure speed over a set distance. Date : around 1970 Movement: SERVICED original breitling movement based on valjoux. Dial: Black Dial in very good condition with pulsation and UPH tachometer. Minutes and hour hands have some cracks in the lume. Case: Polished and brushed, the case is in very good condition.
