I understand that Rolex stopped engraving the serial number between the lug from 2008 onward. Is it possible to have a GMT Master 2 with a V serial + 6 digit engraved on the rehaut and lug?

Some have serial only between lugs while others like some M serials that ran well into 2008 could have it on the rehaut and lugs but nothing special about that. There is no real 100% cut off time frame,now some V serials had rehaut only but not all so possible both, but all single letter G and randoms from 2010 on will have serial on rehaut only.

The only Rolex without s/n between lugs whatever the year of birth is the SD Deepsea. For all others they started engraving only on the rehaut for series G and random.

But we are not talking about DSSD its a 116710LN V Serial 2008 might I suggest you read my post correctly.

No I think you did not read the original posters correctly, and like you did state all single letter G and randoms from 2010 on will have serial on rehaut only.Why you bring up about the DSSD defeats me when said watch was not mentioned by original poster.

But I was not wrong it was you that was wrong to bring up the DSSD when the original post was about a 2008 116710,and yes I know the DSSD only had serial on rehaut.
