My Day Date needs a new partner...

I know this should be an opinionated matter, however I think it's fun to see other peoples thoughts. I sold my 16233 Date Just a few days ago and now I've got a lone 118238 Day Date that I'm in love with.

I want a stainless steel partner for my Day Date that I can wear as a "daily" to work etc. You may have seen my posts about the Yacht Master 37mm Rhodium dial with cyan blue accents.

I am considering either the 268622 Yacht Master with blue hands and Yacht Master logo, or a 126234 Date Just with blue dial and diamond markers. What would be your choice for a daily between these two? My only gripe with the Date Just would be that it is very similar to my Day Date in styling and I thought a Yacht Master would be a nice classy sporty option to compliment!

Happy Sunday!

YM would give you a sporty touch and is different of the DD, the DJ is very similar. I will go for the YM

With so many options in the Date Just line-up I would look there. Dial options, bracelet options, bezel options and the prices are consistent but typically not high. Not a YM fan even though I have owned the model.

An explorer could be the answer. Sporty and understated.

An Explorer or a Sub would make an excellent partner

Explorer is too plain and I think the Sub is one of the ugliest watches on the market. Personal opinion. I know the sub is a classic.

No date feature means a no-go for me. Daytona has useless technology as a daily for me. Beautiful watch, however.

YM for sure. I love the rhodium dial with the pop of baby blue.

I agree Michelle. Definitely leaning that direction. I will probably pick up the YM in a few weeks and get another vintage DJ down the line. They aren't going anywhere.
