Rolex 114270 Explorer - White Gold?

Hello everybody.
I've read in many websites that the Rolex Explorer Ref.114270 has white gold in it's hour markers, 3,6,9 arabic numerals and in it's hands, is there any truth in this?
I just baught an Explorer 114270 last week and though it doesn't really matters it would be very nice to know that it contains WG.
Waiting for your answers,
Yours Sincerely,
GEZ7ch.

Yes that is correct the white metal hour marker surrounds are white gold and the hands are also white gold.

No sperry, the pen is my addition ;) basicly it is a BSE (Bet Shemesh Engines Inc.) pen, since my dad works there.

Thanks for all of your replies =] nice to see some more Explorer fans.

Another one of the many factors that I think contributes greatly to the Explorer's understated classiness.

It is, frankly, the one Rolex that spoke to me more than any other model.

Granted, after being on this forum several days, other models are, shal we say, growing on me. :-)

But also, because I have tiny wrists, the Explorer frankly fits me better than models such as the Submariner.

Yeah, actually being a great feature the WG, weird Rolex didn't mention it on their PDF, nevertheless as long as it's in the watch, I don't mind that it's not in the PDF.
indeed for all, this watch is for me a beautiful timepiece, especially for whom got a small wrist, it's simplicity and elegance is to be admired from my point of view, thanks for your replies.

yours,

A few more enlightenments:
1) The 3130 movement keeps great time, though I hope the Explorer will one day be equipped with the Parachrom Hairspring.
2) Love the new engraved RBR, adds some modern look to the watch.
3) would be nice to concider in the future some bracelet variations to the Explorer, I found a picture on the web, of a nice looking bracelet on the explorer, looks like it has to do something with the light though, anyway, here it is:
Nice, isn't it? perheps in the future using a SS/WG bracelet would also fit the Explorer, food for thought

i honestly think you would NOT want a polished center link bracelet on an explorer. i have had mine 3 months, and i have numerous desk diver scratches that have added character. with pcl i think it would be more of a mess. btw i am not afraid to wear my watch duck hunting or to a water park with the kids or hiking/fishing etc.

really the only thing i would change is addition of real lume at 3-6-9, but oh well.
