First AP on a 8" wrist

Hello all. I have been looking online but wanted to hear some of your thoughts on a watch for my wrist size. Having a 8" wrist I wear a SD43 everyday but wanted to get something a little more dress or something i could wear with jeans and a polo also. I always wanted a Dayton Rolex but just looks small...Gold and open case back is a must. what do you guys thing. Under 35-40K? can be gold or leather/rubber strap.

I think this AP 15500 Rose Gold with leather strap should be the one that you're looking for.

That would be my choice plus an additional rubber strap. Very dressy and sporty at the same time. And it looks bigger than 41mm ... more like 43mm on the wrist.

The ROO 44 in RG wears bigger than the SD43 you are used to. Itīs definitely more impacting, but itīs not really "more dress" from my point of view. Finally, 46 K€ whereas the 15500 OR takes 32 K€.

Just my 2 €cent

The 44 does wear smaller than the 43 but then the 44 drapes over and hugs my wrist better and seems not as top heavy, so not much in it really, can easily wear both as I do.

If OP you do go the RO route then I would advise you get it on bracelet, the RG is a thing of rare beauty, only thing I wish my 44 had a substitute for.

Cheers,

With an 8 inch wrist, I think the 44mm ROO line will be a great fit for you. I have the same wrist size and I have 3 variants of that line (original rose gold with white sundials, all ceramic with blue accents, and the platinum). I love the presence they have on my wrist and you can wear them both dressed up and down. I think the rose gold ROO is perfect for you, either the version I have with the white sub dials or the newer all black version. The watches come on a rubber strap, but I have my rose gold on the OEM matte alligator strap and it looks sick!!!

Good luck on your search!

Any of the 3 RG ROO 44mm area great, but my personal order of preference is:

1) ROO RG Camo 44mm
2) ROO RG old white subdials 44mm
3) ROO RG new black subdials 44mm

Go for the RG 44, many wish they had the wrist to pull it off.

No other AP would look better on your wrist esp with jeans & polo combo.

This. It would be a kick in the plums for us small-wrists chaps if you didn’t take advantage of your wrist size!

I do think any 41mm regular royal oak (15500/15400/26331) would look great. So will the offshores for more casual wear.

Don't go below 41mm for regular - offshore 42/44 all look great.
