Finally finished assembling my own watch.
Today is a special day for me. I finally completed the assembly of my custom watch. It took 4 months to get all the correct parts, assemble, test and complete and after a few mess up I finally got it done. BLACKED OUT. It's a 1 of 1.

Tell us more! How hard was it? Where did you end up ordering everything from and how much are you into it? It looks great!

Wow! I second the previous reply - tell us more about the process and what it took to get it done. How much did you learn about watchmaking?

Nice! This is how it starts :). Next thing you’ll start learning how to service watches. Soon you’ll have $1000s of dollars worth of tools and consumables, and be looking at spending thousands more to get a watchmakers lathe to make replacement balance staffs and pivots. At least that was my journey :). Well worth it in my opinion to have a deep understanding of the things we spend our hard earned on, as well as an appreciation the work that goes into high end watches.
