I found my last collection piece from Takuya

Been long time member but never post much on here. My last piece was purchased probably 4-5 years ago from Thanh aka Takuya. Until recent months, I started thinking to complete my set with either a white dial 116520 so that i have both black and white dial, or a 16710 pepsi/coke. Been looking and doing a lot reading, couldn’t settle or find anything catch my attention as I was hoping to find a piece with complete box and paper. Until recent week, I saw Thanh had a very unique piece and I told myself, “this gotta be it!”

Thanh is a great guy as always, very easy to work with, and after a couple days of exchanging text/emails, here it is my latest and maybe my last incoming piece — complete original box and paper 16760 “fat lady”.

A trio photo along with my mighty 16570, and the 116520 I purchased from Thanh about 4-5 years ago.

a diver please....

u have

gmt master (air)
daytona (land)
explorer polar (subterranean)

and what is rolex well known for. the diver -> Submariner/ seadweller (sea)

ceramic no date sub would be nice, given that the collection has steel and aluminium but short of a ceramic bezel

:)

you have another reason to hunt for additional watch

Hahahaha, let’s don’t start there, I actually consider a 14060 as well, I missed a chance to acquire one 7 years ago at a great price and now I regretted it!

Get a no date ceramic from grey. Decent price can be found
You will Have two pieces with date and two without date

Five years from now the retail will be 10% higher than today

A ceramic unidirectional bezel is the best addition to the collection

box and paper 16760 “fat lady”.

Very nice addition, but they may need to change the nickname. Like everything else these days and trying to be PC it may be deragatory!
