Houston, TX Members?

Anyone in here from Houston? I'm new to the forum. Would definitely be down to grab a drink when all this Covid stuff slows down.

Welcome!! I’m from Houston/Kingwood area. There have been a few get togethers over the years in Houston. Met some really nice members too from TRF. I don’t get out to bars much these days though. I spend most of my free time now out on the water wakeboarding. Feel free to post up a meetup whenever you want and others will come. That’s what I did once.

San Antonio is just a but west of Katy, practically a suburb. The Woodlands here.

I'm from Katy myself and would not mind meeting some more local watch aficionados once things settle down.

Hey!

I'm in Houston too! I'm a diamond/gem dealer, but due to the semi-closer proximity of the two industries I've gotten more and more into horology. I've been more into PP, AP, FP J, ALS, but I've been getting into Rolex lately. I'm not the biggest guy around, so I've been finding the popular Rolex styles too thick for my wrist (Cellini is fairly slim) but I'm making them work. Haha

Don't bother with these folks, they don't respond to invite requests.

Another Houstonian here, happy to connect!

Is it just me, or does Rolex seem to be a big thing in TX? I know lots of Rolex owners from TX for some reason.

I'm for MA unfortunately. I hate this state.

I live downtown and frequent the River Oaks area. I’ve already met some cool people of the forum.

It surprises me a lot too how so many people from Texas love Rolex including myself ..........it's kind of an obsession for me.

I work in Dallas downtown and everyday whenever I went for lunch, always saw huge range of brands, not just Rolex but many. Just before Covid this year Feb, I went to Chipotle and guy beside me was wearing Platona and next day went to Thai restaurant..saw Hublot Big Bang!

Rolex, Omega are pretty much common in good setting in TX.
