First rule when using power tools with long hair. Tie it back. I don't see how this is not removing material. I would consider it frightening. Cautionary tales to scare the children.

When it's done properly with a lapping machine the result is superb. |

She's just "moving the metal." This watch, despite this video in now as a part of its provenance, can be sold "unpolished."

It likely made the watch more sellable as there was obvious pitting and deep scratches on the side of the watch case and that's something most buyers would avoid. I think however the outcome could've been better but then it took less than ten minutes to polish the deep scratches and pits off. I remember watching a video from the same technician a year ago polishing a Daytona, the result wasn't great.

Wow what a coincidence I watched a bunch of her videos last night, so much cringe it was hard to watch. She did a two tone datejust and IMO it looked way worse after. Yikes I guess this is where all those terrible polish jobs come from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Apart from her butchering the watch, those fingernails are absolutely gross. The whole thing is an abomination.

I would not do it. Nothing agains polishing, but has to be done by a pro.

She and that JOOLTOOL are well known around the two major watch websites.
Always sad to see a video of hers posted, sickening.

That watch? No. This is a modern piece that, if you were gonna sell, would probably fetch more after the work she did on it, than if you tried to sell it with all those scratches and pitting on the lugs. Now, should you let her touch a vintage piece? NO WAY. |
