Are you selling your Rolex to buy a BB 58 Blue?

Seems BB58 Somewhat blue dial is all the rage now, prices in grey market are skyrocketing. Almost all the incomings are for BB58.
How many of you are selling your Rolex to get the hot new watch? How many didn't plan on getting it but are now onboard the train?

Thinking of selling the Daytona to buy the BB58

And maybe the regular BB58 too before that one skyrockets!

I held one in my hand Friday. Nice looking but felt kind of petite to me. Not buying one, you can have mine.

No, in a year there will be more available. I’m not sold on it.

Just shows that so many men couldn't rock a 41mm watch and they needed 39mm version of the same watch. Hilarious!

It's all the rage because it just came out... Prices will soften eventually just like the first bb58. No way I would sell a Rolex for hype.

I prefer a late-70s AirKing 5500 to a BB58.

Imagine with other more valuable references

The navy BB58 is too readily available to speculate. The few people I know who bought the watch actually bought it to resell. Unfortunately, no buyers at this time

I think it’s a nice watch but no way I’m selling my Rolex for it. There is a lot of hype around it understandably so, Rolex hasn’t released the 2020 releases yet so all we have is Tudor.

No I wouldn't. I'm not buying another Tudor.

It is not exciting me for some reason. When the first BB58 came out I loved everything about it except the gilt. So I said I'll just wait for a blue version. Now it's here and its not doing much for me. Maybe if I see it in person. I'm not big on Tudor though. Have not been impressed with their bracelets in particular. I do think if I ever pick up another Tudor I'd go for the blue Pelagos though.

I heard even Ellen is selling one of her Daytonas for one after all the hype on TRF.
I’m sure by Monday market value will exceed a 5711. Blue is in people.

I'm thinking of replacing my Batman with Tudor Blue. I'm serious.

WHY would you sell a Rolex to get BB58-blue. That's silly in my opinion.

I handled the BB58 blue and found it uninspiring. I cannot understand the hype around this watch. Or any for that matter.
