For sale is my Tropical 1964 Rolex 1675 Gilt PCG GMT Master originally owned by retired United States Army Colonel Bryce R. Kramer (Vietnam). Colonel Kramer (Major at the time as documented on the service paperwork from 1968) was a part of the 62d Aviation Company "Outlaws" who combined with the 11th Air Assault Division out of Fort Benning, Georgia, for an approximate one year period during the Vietnam War (1964-1965). From my research, it appears Colonel Kramer flew the UH-1 Huey helicopter during his time in this division... One of a few articles I found even described Colonel Kramer's first hand account of his buddy, and fellow platoon leader, Jack Sanford's, helicopter being shot down on a mission. Being this watch was originally purchased in 1964, it was most likely worn on these missions and for his entire deployment during the Vietnam War.

Now for the watch... The watch is running extremely well and appears to still have all its original parts. The tropical dial is a beautiful brown in the sunlight and looks gorgeous against the gilt gloss dial. This beauty has the period correct gold hands and small GMT hand as well. The bracelet is the correct 7206 rivet in very nice overall condition with full links. The mega fat font insert is in fantastic condition.

Included in the deal is a picture of Colonel Bryce R. Kramer, service paperwork from RSC from 1968 with his address of Columbus, Georgia, which is where he lived during his time at Fort Benning, the return stamped service box and articles of the above mentioned mission, as well as history of the "Outlaws" speaking about Colonel Kramer.

Asking $33,500 for this incredible piece of Rolex and U.S. military history. I will ship to anywhere in the world at the cost of the buyer.
