Added another 4220 "SPEEDKING"
Added another 4220 "SPEEDKING" to my growing vintage, vintage collection.
The date charts show: The large center second non-oyster case dates from 1934. (057xxx) The sub-second 4220 "SPEEDKING" dates from 1941. It is engraved as a father's day present 1944. (222xxx) The center second 42220 "SPEEDKING" dates from 1944. (292xxx) |

How did you date the non-oyster watch?
The serial number charts for dating Rolexes are for oyster-cased watches only as far as I know. |
