Finally, I was able to pick this up and share a wrist shot.
Purchased as soon as they came out 7/1 and finally had a chance to pick up and wear. The best thing about this watch is it looks just like my 5 digit sub so no explaining the purchase to the wife as she has not yet noticed it. The blue is done just right. Navy blue in low light and medium blue in sunlight conditions. Love everything about the watch except for the domed crystal, I am not use to the distortion when not viewing the face straight on. But I am definitely not selling my submariner as the Tudor wears a little larger and more clunky. But all in all very happy with my first Tudor.

It looks great! Thank you for sharing. I’m waiting patiently to pick it the next one that comes in at my AD. I also enjoy the fact it looks similar to a 5 digit.

That’s nice. The shade of blue looks great. Maybe I should head down to the AD and have a look.

Just curious as to why you feel the bb58 wears larger and more clunky than a 5 digit sub, as the bb58 is thinner at 12mm v 13mm and lug to lug is slightly shorter at 47.5mm v 48mm.
I have a 16610, and am also considering the blue bay 58, but wouldn't want anything larger than what I already have. |

Keep in mind after removing my 2008 Sub which has been in my rotation with a 16570 explorer it came off as a little heavier and more clunky. Perhaps smaller overall dimensions but the way the case tapers is different. The side profile seems more pronounced but it is not any taller than my sub. This is my first Tudor and I have to say I am very impressed at the quality at this price point. I do highly recommend. The blue dial and bezel color is spot on. The larger snow flake hands and Lume plots are much easier to read and the dreaded faux bracelet rivets are really not a nuisance. I always fell like a new watch never fells right until I wear it for a while.

Glad you found a good one! My next will be a blue faced watch...whether SkyD, Tudor BB Blue, YM Blue, DJ blue, Omega Seamaster blue, or maybe even a Grand Seiko (love the peacock, while it is sorta green/blue). So many choices. Or, I’ll go green with the hulk! :) |

Best feature of the watch is that it doesn’t have a date function since Tudor has struggled with it, it’s an amazing looking watch!
