Scratch?
Hi all,
Was looking at my OP in the sun and I noticed a couple lines— does this look like a scratch to you all, or is it just the sunburst nature? There is also another one at 35 but I couldn’t capture it in photo. Thanks!

This comes up from time to time ... I believe there was a thread specific to LVC sunburst dials some time again, citing the same “scratch”. I can’t seem to find that thread.
As I recall it was inconclusive, but some members felt that the “scratch” was unacceptable to them. I can’t recall if any went the route of RSC or warranty claims. |

I have seen those sort of marks on sunburst dials before.
Do a search on the forum. |

Unfortunately for you - yes that IS a scratch.
I started a thread about this because I saw way way too many dial imperfections and I personally have had RSC replace numerous dials under warranty for me because of this EXACT same issue Read the thread here https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=636111 |
