Please assist in a small (let’s say) ‘discussion’

Is this the correct original bezel for a ‘72/‘73 red sub?

To me it looks like a later replacement but there are many on here to whom I defer as experts.

Any comments appreciated / welcome.

The insert is a service replacement.
