New AD came through in the clutch so now I want to give a thoughtful thank you gift.

A new AD with no purchase history is selling me a 116610 LV. I wanted to get her a nice thank you gift. Was thinking about gifting her a bottle of Moët. What would you recommend? I know some may think no gift is needed but I think she cane through in a big way and would like to make a nice first impression.

I think the commission she earned and the 9k you paid to the dealer is a big enough thank you. Just be nice and thankful as I'm sure you were. They are just as thankful as you are for the sale.

Maybe a pizza for the store staff? You want them all to remember you not just one rep. Anyway, you gave your money. The best thank you is a referral or another purchase.

A big thank you would be to continue supporting them moving forward and making them your 1 stop shop for your purchases lol. Very nice of them, can't wait to get mine! Take some nice wrist shots

If you offer some champagne, don’t offert a Moët et Chandon. Offer a Ruinart blanc de blancs.

Wine basket with cheese and crackers, etc. addressed to her and the sales team at XYZ, delivered with a small card expressing your thanks.

Seeing recent hype in Hulk grey price; it must had been coincidence cocktail ... she surely deserves attention ... flowers always do ... would go for “green orchid”
... this’d be memorable

Not sure what that is but I’m sure it’s nice. I don’t think they sell that at my local liquor store. Dom Perignon is the fanciest champagne they sell in my neck of the woods. I could get a bottle of that. Just don’t know if it’s too cliche.

+1 on this. Sending a basket that not only she can enjoy, but her entire sales team as well. When you go back in there, they'd all remember you and hopefully be as accommodating and considerate as she was.

Any recommendations? Not a big wine drinker myself. From what I can tell it’s a locally owned business so very few employees. My SA is also the owner. I think the staff is only like 4 people from what I gather.

If you haven’t tried it, then you ought to! Champagne is a matter of taste, and it’s natural to go with the big names. However you could get better value (in my opinion) with other houses. If you can get your hand on some ruinart, take two bottles, and pop one with your new Rolex. You won’t be sorry !

Congratulations on the 116610LV, OP!

Godiva chocolates and a bottle of Veuve-Clicquot Brut.

If she likes Champagne then Moet or my preference Bollinger, is a good choice, Dom P is over the top, if you are not sure she drinks some luxury/gourmet chocolates would be good.

As mentioned above cheese and wine basket is a cool idea.

If you are getting champagne - Krug or Bollinger would be my pick.

Congrats on the watch!

If money, the least you could do is a 20% tip. You have to remember, they went out of their way to allow you to own such a watch.

If you're doing gifts, something like a diamond tennis bracelet, or diamond Cartier love bracelet would suffice. Don't give her a plain gold Cartier. Don't forget the manager and store owner as well, cause ultimately she had to get their permission.
