FS: IWC Pilots Chronograph “Blue Angles” Edition — Complete Set + Under Warranty

Up for your consideration is my IWC Pilot’s Chronograph “Blue Angles” Edition! IWC is the official Licensee of the US Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron. The Blue Angles currently have six highly trained Navy and Marine pilots, who fly F/A-18 Hornet Jets. This Pilot’s Chronograph is designed to handle the extreme conditions that these pilots undergo when performing extreme g-forces, shock, and drops in air pressure.

This Pilots watch is housed in a matte black zirconium oxide ceramic case, with a screw in crown, flyback chronograph, and a sapphire crystal with an antireflective coating on both sides. The deep navy blue dial features hour and minute chronograph counters located on the subdial at “‪12 o’clock‬”, Small hacking seconds within the “‪6 o’clock‬” subdial, and a date display at “‪3 o’clock‬”. The separate depiction of the minutes in the outer rind and the hours on the smaller yellow ring is reminiscent of the observer’s watches of the 1930’s and 1940’s.  The caseback features an engraving of the Blue Angles crest.
