Finally

Well, after almost 8 months of waiting I finally got the call for my SS DJ41. They said this is the first one of this type any of their stores have received all year...

It’s at an AD in another part of the country so they’re kindly sending it to one of their stores in my city at no additional cost. Unfortunately they don’t discount Rolex but I did negotiate to have 2 extra links included.

I’ll get to pick it up next Saturday as that’s the earliest I can make it in to get it. Wrist shots to come!

Here’s the pic the AD sent me.

Thank you all

I'm really looking forward to picking it up. My local AD had the 36mm version last weekend and it was just exquisite! Can't wait to see this one in the flesh.

Can you elaborate on the extra links? I thought it came with all of the links already. Are the extra links old stock from another watch?

I have it and I can tell you it is the best dial of any watch I have ever owned. Post when you receive! Congrats.

I have a chunky wrist so an extra two gives the most comfort. The AD usually have a small selection of extra SS and TT links in stock - it saves them having to order them from Rolex for customers.

You will love it! Looks great in the sun and the bezel and links reflect light in low light conditions. Mine (oyster) appears to glow at times!

Love it! The only reason I'm not buying one is I'm holding out for a Blue Sky D.
