Submariner booklets date code
Thinking of buying a Submariner, the watch is a 2006 Z serial but the warranty card & original purchase receipt is dated 2009. It has everything except the booklets. As they are easily obtainable my question is would it have come with the manuals and booklets dated 2006 or 2009?

If you are searching for booklets The language and the address are important also. A watch from Rolex USA booklets should have the N.Y. address and other countries should have a Swiss address. This is just an observation.

As others have said, it could be any of 3 different dates - and you should seek a version that comports with the CC that is printed on the warranty card.
Had the watch carried a 2007 sales date on the card, you certainly wouldn’t want booklets dated 2008-2009. But if you consider the salestron situation at the AD, they grab the collateral out of their back room to make up the delivery package s was it hour regard to markings on booklets other than the correct model name. So in your case, a 2009 booklet (presuming it really matters) would be exactly what a salestron would have grabbed. PS: what are the codes on the box? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Booklets and boxes are cheap! You can find full sub box sets and books for circa $200.
If the watch is what you want dont worry about the books. |

Gotcha. Should be books from year of purchase If you want a set as it would’ve been from an AD. In my experience the only time they would differ is if NOS of a discontinued model. Not dial, but model change such as 16610ln to 116610ln
