Sub and a Suit

Greetings, i notice in some posts it mentions that a Sub should not be worn with a suit, i don't see any issue with that especially if its a BLUESY

Some do take issue with the sports watch and suit combination, but I am certainly not one of them. Looks great to me!

I think in today's culture, most everything can be worn with a suit. From a 46mm Big Pilot, to a 44mm Panerai, to a simple 37mm Saxonia.

If wearing brown shoes with a blue suit is now acceptable, I think a Bluesy will work just fine.

Wear what you want and ignore the nae sayers. OK a pair of yellow Crocs maybe a bit of a contrast with a suit but a Bluesy looks great.

One of the great attributes of Rolex and only Rolex is that you can essentially take any of their watches and apply it to any circumstance. Go snorkeling or hiking during the day and wear it dressed in the evening. With Rolex you are always dressed. I know, there are some purists out there that think you need to wear a proper strap watch or dress watch with a suit, BS. Heck, you can even pull it off with a tux.

Of course you an wear a Sub with a suit; especially a black dial Sub.

Nobody pays attention to the people that say you can't.

However, there are watches I wouldn't wear with a suit; including some Rolex.

You can wear it if you don't mind your fellow office workers laughing at you behind your back.

C'mon man! get yourself a suitable dress watch!

Just Kidding.

I wear any watch with any attire. But then I don’t have any interest in following dress rules, it’s just not me.

But...if you are someone that really cares about dressing correctly, then probably a watch on a leather strap is the right way to go with a suit.

Krash brings up a good point. Is it suitable to wear an Apple Watch/ fitness watch with a suit? I say no.
