I would think a service at this point in time is premature.
Pressure test as you see fit seeing as you are diving with it. Worry about a service when it starts playing up a bit or you reach the 7 year mark. Which ever comes first in my book My last service on my DSSD was about the 5 year mark as it was playing up worse than a second hand lawnmower with regard to power reserve. |

I would doubt if your watch needs a service yet but if used regular for diving then a pressure check would be prudent. Just a simple dry pressure check to 200m-300m that most hight street watchmakers can do will be fine.

As Padi said, you need to pressure check it just to make sure seals are still good. Specially if regularly used for swimming/diving. Unscrewing the crown to occasionally set the time/wind always risks some moisture reaching the seals and that can slowly break them down.
My RSC Watchmaker tells me to come in once a year for a quick pressure test of my divers. I'd rather listen to his advice than someone on the internet telling you "it's fine". |

Recently was speaking with my AD about this who said on 6-digit divers, even if you regularly dive with it, it needs to be pressure tested only every 10 years at regular service intervals

Afraid most ADs talk through where the sun dont shine and this ten service is depending on how the watch was used.If used regular underwater as watch was intending for, it would be prudent to service pressure check more frequent. But if used like the majority of pampered Rolex watches today, then service every 7-10 years again depending on use.As Rolex states it is recommended to service your Rolex approximately every 10 years depending on the model and real-life usage.

You can call it whatever you want too,but in the real world watches like the DSSD with high W/R these max depths will never be used by man or superman in water. And no matter the watch whether if say a vintage 5513, as long as it passes a pressure check, serviced regular, it would be equal safe to dive wear as any modern day Rolex.
