I have been looking for a Black Sub or Black SD43 as I wanted a more causal look with the black dial. With these being hard to find right now from a AD even though I am on the list for one. I was thinking of maybe getting a black DateJust 41 on a oyster band.

I am on the fence as my grail is a DD and they are kinda similar.

Has anyone grabbed a a DateJust over the sub and regretted it?

Datejust is awesome. I have a Sub, and sometimes I think I might want a Datejust instead.

You can always grab a DJ now and then sell it when your Sub or DD comes in, if you find it redundant.

If you’re waiting for a Rolex, it’s better to wait with a Rolex on your wrist.

I think Sub & Datejusts aren't comparable watches. Both are great and beautiful in their own ways
