Under appreciated simplicity
Glad it's that way as it makes the watch still relatively obtainable.
The Oyster Perpetual 39 white, 114300. Never expect it to be this good if a watch. I have experienced the explorer 214270, the DJ41 and a few others. This watch really surprised me. |

I prefer the 36mm OP, but otherwise completely agree. Absolutely beautiful, probably some of the strongest Rolex watches

I 100% agree with you. The simplicity is what makes it, in my opinion, so perfect. Such a beautiful watch in every way.

I regret selling mine, simplicity at it's best. Most comfortable Rolex I've worn.

If it was on a flip lock bracelet with the ez link, i would probably buy one and wear it daily.

It's James Bond's fault. Ian Fleming rocked the simple (either explorer I, OP, or DJ, I forget but similar profile) and that was the "Rolex" rolex. Then, Bond decides to opt for the flashier sub and the "sports" pieces get all the attention.

I'm glad you like it!
The whole James bond sub thing doesn't resonate now to many under about 40. He's not that aspirational to anyone these days! |

One of the most balanced and wonderfully proportioned references. And at 39mm a great easy size. |

Great pix.
I looks as if the dial has a non-reflective coating.

My AD has mentioned that Rolex will be doing something with the OP range in the September announcement... If this is true what could it possibly be?
Love this one, well done! |

"Relatively obtainable".
The OP is fast becoming one of the more tricky Rolex watches to obtain. The average punter wants the OP more than a Sub. It's insta and WIS people who want the Sub (Hulk, etc). |

My wife got a 36 Grape this year. It's elegant simplicity is remarkable. A case of less being more if you get the design right.

I think it's one of the nicer recent Rolex offerings.

The brushed bracelet finish is spectacular. One of the reasons I love my Sub so much is the brushed bracelet. OP39 is a beauty.
