This watch is way too small for me

Sorry to say but today I had to face the truth and admit that my 16710 is way too small for my almost 8 inch wrist. That explains its time in the winder.

Yes indeed, way, way too small.

Who cares?

It's only too small if you have been stereotyped into thinking its to small, myself have 8 and a half inch wrists, and quite happy to wear some of my vintage 30mm watches.PS that 16710 looks great on your wrist, and IMHO it's a perfect size, so take it off that machine winder thing and bloody wear it thats a order.

Not at all...

You just simply don’t care, as long as you like the watch...

Looks good on you, nice to see a bit of bracelet action going on ,rather than the norm,of watch lugs hanging over the sides of ones wrist. PS Nice watch.

Thanks a lot! But my wrist is nearly 8,5 inch, so you can for sure pull it off...

Nothing wrong with that, I have a 8.75-9 inch wrist and wear a Sub I don’t have any issues at all.

Very nice dial but I’d like to see a pix of it on the other side of your wrist bone.

Difficult to see the wrist/watch in that pix?

Eddie.

Looks fine! I actually prefer the look of a big watch, but, we all have our opinions, and tastes when it comes to what we think looks good on our wrists.
Some watches are meant to look big and bold on the wrist, some aren’t. Most of the Rolex lineup is not. The one that comes to mind that’s big, and meant to be so, is the DSSD.
Thankfully there’s many rolex choices, and many brand choices, for everyone’s different tastes and preferences. Wear what you enjoy!

It’s not to small but i also feel the 5 digit watches are less substantial compared to the 6 digit brothers and much prefer the beefier lugs

If it doesn't work for you, it doesn't work. Simple as that. There are lots of watches out there.

FWIW, I think it looks great on you. It's your wrist; wear what you like.

I couldn’t disagree on more. 70% of wrist shots on this forum show a watch that is too damn big for the wearer. That 16710 looks downright perfect on you. It’s fascinating how our eyes get conditioned over time.

If it doesn't work for you then it doesn't work for you, and pages of opinions won't change this. I know what my own preferences are when it comes to watches - stick to how you feel and make your choices based on that
