Matchy NATOs for the 58 .

Been buying NATOs for years. Still wear on the bracelet 95% of the time but nice to change it up occasionally. There's so much more choice now.
I remember when there were a couple of decent suppliers like Phoenix etc

Those look great! Where did you buy them from?

I think my BB58NB needs a strap like that.

Hi Nigel,
Great stuff with the Blue BB58 in particular, gives it almost a yatch style vibe here. Changes the feel completely!

Yes, the elastic webbing style. probably the most comfortable strap you could have ... I've not tried an 'Ericas Originals' which look very high quality but I'm not so keen on the clasp situation.

Yeah I tried a EO knock off and I was put off that I had to take the spring bars off to use it. I though it would be similar to a NATO, but nope. Then the clasp situation is difficult to even maneuver.

I just discovered that my favorite NATO supplier (Gnomon Dievas) is discontinuing their regular NATOS in favor of woven and seatbelt NATOs and I am quite disappointed. You mention Phoenix, as I think the ones I like are very close to the Phoenix style - G10 specs, tight weave, softer, and especially getting the gray color close if not spot on to vintage MOD specs from what I have read. I wouldn't really know, but the gray is nice and dark unlike most NATO gray I have seen from others. My issue with Phoenix would be it seems they don't do brushed hardware as an option.

Thanks for this, just ordered three leather 18mm Nato's for some of my military fixed springbar watches....three for £20! Your two look great, shame they didn't have them in 18mm.
