Black Bay Harrods keeps fading

Hey all,

Just wanted to share pictures of my Black Bay which has continued to fade - It never leaves my wrist... I mean ever. It's also exposed to salt water almost every day...

My only criticism is between 50 and 60 there appears to be a purple hue coming along.

Today it goes on a B&J NATO as I'm chilling at home for a few days

really strange to see that so soon.

Almost looks like it has been rubbed with bleach

Fair play if it's done this with UV and salt water so quickly.

ps looks fantastic on that green nato

Couldn't ask for a better color match to the NATO. I like it.

it has been exposed to bleach in the past but not any longer for like 5 seconds and it was more the bracelet which came in contact with bleach

I’m confused if you are upset or pleased with this. I would not be happy.

A watch that is worn and used. That's such a novel idea!

Oh btw....looks awesome with the NATO

Its so rare to see a modern watch getting such a character from rugged usage.

May i know why is the watch in contact with saltwater and bleach so frequently? Are you working as a commercial diver?

I find it weird that the outer and inner parts have the original green on them in some spots. It really looks bleached. But if you say it isn't, who am I to doubt you.

Really? I don’t quite understand this aspect of the watch world. I own some classic watches and classic cars, and I get the idea of character, but this is a new watch. In my opinion, this is defective.
I guess it’s the same way some people intentionally rip their jeans.

When the Black Bay Bronze Brown was launched, I seem to remember some corrosion/pitting issues with the bezel insert when exposed to salt water regularly. Maybe related?

I never liked any green dial/ bezel watch but that fade is very very cool! It almost has brown hues mixed in. Looks great OP
