Aftermarket or swapped bezels on Subs?
I’ve got a spare Bluesy bezel in my parts bin that has the numbers that faded and now look silver. I was considering popping off my green bezel on my z serial LV just for fun. Has anyone done anything similar on a submariner? If so, please post some pics!
Also, if I try to do the swap is there anything that I could do to damage my Sub? |

It won't be original but the blue would be an improvement over the green.
Changing the bezel insert is fairly simple.

I’m not sure. I wouldn’t do it. Even though they’re all original parts but would look fake since rolex hasn’t produced that combination .................yet ;)

I’ve read dozens of posts where people swap inserts. Similarly, there are as many or more ways to screw it up.
Hundreds have likely done a swap with no problems. Worse case, the RSC makes some money returning your watch to “like new” condition Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Seriously it's you watch to do what ever you want with, it's easy enough to change the bezel. Go for it.

Man, I love how used and loved your kermit obviously is, really great to see in this day and age of people fretting over tiny scratches and value retention, awesome piece.

Your watch, your choice.
I would. Although I'd probably rotate them. |

Not an issue; when I first got my 14060 I put on a red bezel; I enjoyed if for a while, got tired of it, and went back to the original. It's easy to do and go back so do it if you like.

I did it! What do yall think? This is the bezel off of an A serial 16613 that had faded and was replaced.

I bought it new on July 3, 2007 and daily wore it until February 2018 (that is when I ventured out and bought other Rolex watches and began a rotation). It was serviced once (2012). I've worn it at the office, vacation, doing work on a ranch, working on cars, surfing, hiking camping, river tubing, snorkeling, etc. It's been in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. |

It looks great. I think that there is another one in the modified rolex thread.

Looks great! Love the blue bezel with the black dial. Maybe Rolex will announce that new color combo on the Sub come September...

Like it, I like it a lot. To be honest I think it looks better in blue than it did in green.
