Love the Snowflake - almost sold it!

I love this watch but as the wandering eye goes, so does the idea of moving pieces to acquire new ones.

Was looking at purchasing the Omega Apollo 11 50th Anniversary and figured I'd need to move something to make room. Luckily my wife has better sense than me and said "why would you sell that thing?!".

She's absolutely right! I think I just got tired of it being on a very similar bracelet to my 16710 and how it felt on the wrist, totally forgetting that I bought this watch to wear on a strap. So, onto my favorite strap it went and I fell in love again.

It stayed in the collection...and I added the Omega that I wanted - thanks to my wife. Here's a few shots from our weekend to Jackson Hole

Looks good on a strap, I have mine on an Erika's Original strap.

Lovely, lovely watch! Glad to hear that you kept it. Also, I adore JH: many, many trips there over the years.

Maybe it's a representation of her. Don't ditch her for the new model. Gorgeous watch and equally nice outing.

Thanks gents!

It was a moment of weakness while finding the shiny new thing.

Glad I have my wife to set me straight!

Beautiful piece. Really love that matte blue look with those markers. Such a cool vintage look.

Great watch. Sometimes I think we just want something different and a new feel. The straps and bracelets are a good way to freshen things up.
