Tudor 79090 with no caseback engraving?

Hi,

I have a B97**** example with no caseback engraving at all. The serial would indicate that the watch was among the last produced of the Tudor sub. The watch is complete with box, paper, tag with serial and appears extemely original and legit.

Could they have run out of tudor casebacks and simply installed a rolex caseback?

Anyone heard of other oyster tudors with no engraving?

Not that I've ever seen , even a google image search doesn't produce any blank case backs. Can you get the watch opened up to check the ref numbers on the inside of the caeback?.
